Wefarm is the world’s largest farmer-to-farmer digital network. We enable farmers to connect with one another over SMS to solve problems, share ideas and spread innovation by utilising the latest machine learning technology. Small-scale agriculture is the biggest industry on earth, with more than a billion farmers globally supplying 70% of the world's food and commodities, yet remaining digitally unconnected… until Wefarm!
Since our launch in 2015 we have grown to serve over 1.9 million farmers across the world, who share more than 20,000 Qs & As a per day. Wefarm has raised investment from some of the world’s leading VCs, including True Ventures in Silicon Valley, and we are looking to add to a world-class team based across London, Nairobi, Kampala and Dar-es-Salaam.
Join us and be a part of our mission to build an ecosystem for global agriculture, with the farmer at the centre!
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead product development focused on increasing farmer engagement with our information service and marketplace offering. You’ll focus on the key drivers of user engagement and conversion to purchase, and determine priorities across the whole user lifecycle from onboarding and activation to retention.
You’ll be a key part of a cross-functional squad, driving a test and learn approach to product development in order to prioritise initiatives that have the biggest impact on engagement and purchasing behaviour.
Wefarm is growing rapidly and the Senior Product Manager will play a key role in increasing our understanding of user needs and shaping our future product offering.
Rewards package and remuneration
The total rewards package and remuneration will be based on experience and potential, but is highly competitive and will include share options. We believe in our team being not only the executors of Wefarm’s visions but the makers and owners of it!
As a global business, travel is essential to who we are, and will be a perk (and requirement) of the job. We also host an annual whole company get together (Wecamp), previously held in Kenya and Uganda. In addition, we have a flexible working environment (within reason of course!), and we value spending time together - boarding the weekly lunch train, and frequent social events throughout the year.
Unfortunately, we will only be able to respond to shortlisted candidates.
